A self-proclaimed Army brat, Courtney lived in Germany until moving to Texas in 2002. After receiving her degree in psychology, she worked in clinical research until 2015 when she decided to leave the corporate world to pursue a career in fitness instruction. Courtney’s journey with yoga began in 2011 when, like many, she took classes to get fit and lose weight. She quickly became passionate about yoga and found that it was so much more than just a workout. Through the self-confidence gained from her practice, she decided to try aerial fitness classes and quickly found another passion. After suffering a major injury requiring reconstructive shoulder surgery in late 2016, she decided to return to her roots and pursue her yoga teacher certification. Courtney believes that yoga is truly transformational in healing the body and the mind and loves to tie in her knowledge of human psychology with her zeal for fitness and wellness. Known for her signature pink hair and mat, she's been sharing her style of yoga since 2017. Courtney is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher, having completed her 200-hour yoga teacher certification through Lotus Yoga and her 300-hour teacher certification through Samanova Yoga. She is also certified in beginner through intermediate pole fitness, beginner aerial lyra, and pole silks.
